The Breath of Life

newborn baby

I, for some strange reason, have babies on the brain. Obviously, I don’t remember being a baby. For some reason we don’t form memories at that age, but it makes me wonder if, at some point, I actually felt God breathe the breath of life into me like he did to Adam. Was it that first breath I took outside of my mother? Will my baby, who will be here any day, feel it on her first breath? I sure hope so! What an incredible gift.

Happy reading, thinking, and discussion!
