I am rarely the first to know about something. I don’t share secrets and I don’t really care about gossip, so people often don’t feel any reason to tell me the latest and greatest. My favorite musical artists are Dolly Parton and Whitney Houston and my favorite movie came out in 1992. Clearly I’m just not “in the know”. And normally I feel just fine about that.
But…
Our stories today and tomorrow are ones I would have wanted to be a part of right from the very beginning. I think it would have been absolutely incredible to be one of the few who saw the empty tomb or saw the risen Jesus face to face. I can’t even imagine what I would have felt. Can you?
